Medical & Dental Ministries

The Juanita Bowsher Health and Community Center has been helping patients free of charge since 2000.

Medical providers from the U.S. donate their time year-round to come and serve the people of Piedras Negras. All specialties are welcome-we have hosted specialty clinics ranging from ENT’s all the way to podiatrists. 

Our most popular clinics are dental and optometrist; however, there is a need for all medical providers in the communities we serve. We also host student teams and understand that our ministry can be a vital educational and spiritual opportunity for those preparing for careers in medicine and dentistry. 

Ultimately the doctors are responsible for the patients, but students can receive hands-on experience they might not receive in a “normal” clinic setting.
